Tom started The Chiacchio Firm over fifteen years ago after serving as a law clerk for the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and obtaining his initial experience practicing in Blank Rome’s litigation department. As detailed in the About Us section of the firm’s website, Tom has represented businesses and individuals involved in litigation throughout the United States. The lawsuits involve a wide range of commercial subject matters including breach of contract, fraud and defense of employers facing wage and hour disputes. Tom also has almost twenty years of experience representing financial institutions and financial advisors in FINRA proceedings and arbitration forums prior to FINRA’s formation. Tom also has obtained multiple appellate court victories for clients.
Mr. Chiacchio recently served as Chair of the Justinian Society and Brandeis Law Society Foundation's Lifetime Achievement Award which was recently awarded to the Honorable Anthony J. Scirica of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, served as Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Pursuit of Justice Legal Writing Competition, serves on the Justinian Society's Board of Governors as Vice Chancellor and has taught continuing legal education courses.
